We offer our members a range of different counselling and consultation support options which enables them to choose one that best suits their personal preferences, lifestyle and learning style.

About the International Employee Assistance Programme and the MyEAP app.

Together with our partner Morneau Shepell - a leader in integrated technology-enabled HR services, focusing on the mental, physical, social and financial well-being of employees around the world - we’re pleased to offer you this independent, confidential and wide-ranging support service.

The International Employee Assistance Programme can help you deal with a range of challenges such as adapting to a new culture or the personal and emotional impacts of relocation, including loneliness, stress, anxiety or depression.

Specially designed for expatriates, the Employee Assistance Programme provides 24/7 access to confidential support in a choice of languages. This can be delivered by phone, video call, instant messaging or email, depending on each person’s needs. 

This service is available round the clock via the Member Portal, by phone or by mobile using the MyEAP app. Toll-free numbers can be located on the MyEAP app or through www.workhealthlife.com.
 

You and your dependents are entitled to:

  • Up to 5 sessions of telephone counselling with a certified counsellor per health issue, per year.
  • Up to 5 sessions of video counselling with a certified counsellor per health issue, per year.
  • Access to confidential support for Legal and Financial issues
  • Access to online wellness website (www.workhealthlife.com) providing access to a variety of tools and resources.
     

How does the International Employee Assistance Programme work?

To access the service, members can call a local number in their country as available and listed on the workhealthlife.com site. To reduce fees if a local number is not available, you can call +1 905 886 3605 (a Canadian-based number) and request for a callback. You can also download the MyEAP app from your device’s app store.

When you contact Morneau Shepell, a Client Care Representative will assess your situation and discuss the type of support that best suits your needs.

After this, a local counsellor, who speaks your preferred language, will contact you (typically within 24 hours) to arrange an appointment. In the case of a crisis or emergency, we can provide telephone counselling right away.

Download the MyEAP app now on Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS), and follow the simple directions to register.

This service is confidential and does not impact your premiums or replace a doctor’s visit. 
As a member, you will need to confirm what services are available in your policy documents or by contacting your HR representative.
