          Generali Global Health rolls out a new prevention and wellness app

          Meet Bria, a new app that offers tips and support to combat stress, encourage better sleeping patterns, healthier lifestyles, higher levels of fitness and weight loss.

          Bria is Generali Global Health’s (GGH) latest product enhancement for individual and corporate international health insurance clients around the world. The app allows members to choose a health goal, and then plots an action plan targeted at meeting that goal. And if members don’t have the motivation to go it alone, they can connect with friends, family and even work colleagues, encouraging each other and competing in challenges to gain places on a leader board.

          Bria connects with more than 1,000 popular health and activity trackers, and offers specialist health advice tailored to a member’s unique situation.

          Along with Bria, GGH had also rolled out a complementary online well-being tool on their members’ Portal. There members can find a health and fitness calculator that indicates BMI and desirable body weight. A waist-to-hip calculator is also available, along with an interactive symptom checker, an interactive health risk assessment tool and general healthcare advice.

          When it comes to member health, GGH believes that prevention is always better than cure. The new Bria app and wellness calculators are free for members and sit alongside our existing family of member services, including:

          • An Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) - providing 24/7 access to confidential support to help members and their dependents manage loneliness, and adapt to new cultures, relocation and stress. Manned by multilingual counselors, the EAP is accessible by telephone, email, video call and instant messaging.
          • My Digital Doctor - an app that lets members’ schedule a doctor appointment anywhere in the world, 24/7 from the convenience of their home or work. My Digital Doctor enables the sharing of images and test results, and for doctors to discuss symptoms, medications and onward care pathways.
          • A Second Medical Opinion service – offering a telephone or video consultation with an independent world-leading specialist who will confidentially review of a member’s medical case, if there is uncertainty about a diagnosis or recommended medication or treatment options.
          • Genomic Profiling Tests for cancer - using an innovative test, members diagnosed with cancer can receive a report based on their specific genomic profiling, helping their clinician to choose the most appropriate treatment option for their condition.
